Master Ohashi
Born in 1944 near Hiroshima, Japan, Ohashi was able to maintain and strengthen his health thanks to the healing techniques that are the main content of his teaching. Believing that Eastern concepts of health can benefit twentieth-century men and women, he dedicated himself to the practice and teaching of this philosophy.
Ohashi is the director and principal instructor of Ohashi International, Ltd which he founded in 1974. He teaches there, as well as at associated schools around the world and for many other organizations in the United States and Europe. He brings humor and joy to his lessons, enriching the lives of everyone he meets with his positive vision of the human condition. These qualities, combined with remarkable professional skills, foresight and energy, have made Ohashi an internationally recognized teacher.
Early in his career, Ohashi began training some of the Institute’s graduates to teach. He argues that Americans and Europeans must teach this Eastern modality and philosophy to appropriate new perspectives and stay current. After intensive training these graduates became Certified Ohashiatsu® Instructors and some of them teach the Institute’s program.

My interest in oriental arts began with the study of Kung Fu undertaken from a young age. Curiosity for holistic medicine subsequently led me to first delve into macrobiotics, nutrition, Chinese medicine and oriental philosophy at the Kushi Institute, and then Naturopathy, Homeopathy and Floritherapy at the Free University of Applied Naturopathy LUINA. I started studying Ohashiatsu in 1994, obtaining the diploma from the Ohashi Institute in 1996 and in 1997, with the diploma of Certified Ohashiatsu Instructor, I began teaching this beautiful method.
With Ohashiatsu and also thanks to the collaboration with Ohashi, whose seminars and advanced courses I translate, I understood the profound importance of body movement in maintaining physical and mental health. I teach the complete curriculum of the Ohashi Method in the Ohashiatsu school of Bologna, in Italy and in Europe, and I integrate body work by continuing the practice of Qi Gong and Kung Fu.

I have always believed in the power of “touch”, both as a need for human contact and as an expression of closeness, support, relief. Since 2016, in an attempt to understand some of my health dynamics, I have had the opportunity to learn about Ohashiatsu as a recipient, thus experiencing firsthand the great benefits of this practice.
Subsequently, in 2021, driven by a great curiosity towards eastern philosophies, I feel the need to undertake the Ohashiatsu training, also motivated by the strong passion that had grown in the meantime. After obtaining my professional diploma from the Ohashi Institute, in 2023, I embarked on the journey as a Certified Ohashiatsu Consultant with the aim of increasingly deepening the study of Chinese medicine and making as many people aware of the benefits of touching and listening to one’s body, in their personal search for psycho-physical and spiritual well-being.
As time passed, having cultivated the practice of Ohashiatsu on a daily basis and feeling its great benefits on myself and others, I decided to undertake the teaching path and in 2024 I became a Certified Ohashiatsu Instructor, starting to hold courses at the Ohashiatsu school in Bologna.
I continue my endless journey in the field of oriental practices, integrating my investigation with studies of somatics, biomechanics and practicing other disciplines such as dance, yoga and meditation.
